Got a 528i that the passenger seat was dead. Water damage to ECU, so it got fried. Had my mechanic install and check the seat, says there is power from the cable to the ECU (BMW OEM BTW), power from ECU to the switch box on the side, but the motors will not move.

Question: Does the main ECU have to be programmed for the part? There was a series change on Real OEM that covers this and other models, looks like a universal part for many series.

How do I get this working if all else is good (motors, etc.) Thanks!
