Thanks for the feedback guys, really stinks so many people have problems with these. Found a place locally that I am going to check out, the straightened a couple of rims on my parents e60 wagon and they also do welding. http://www.americanfactorywheel.com

I'm thinking if I can get them fixed for $300 or less I going to do it and start shopping for a new set. I don't want to rush myself into buying new wheels but realize I will likely go through this again if I don't...........I'll be watching the classifieds for a while first to see if any deals popup.

What tire pressure are you running? High tire pressure may contribute.

Was going by the sticker in the door jam, 30 up front and 35 in the rear.

The fact that both of your cracked rims are rear rims indicates that tire pressure may contribute.

I run 32 all around as I usually don't have rear passengers

WOW! My cracks are on the outer edge of the inside lip so hopefully that doesn't happen. Going to try and get to the repair place today for an estimate. Then I start shopping........

Just dropped off the rims, $100 for the one crack and $140 for the other with three. Wheel guy wasn't too excited about fixing the one with three, said it would just keep cracking. Told him I was just looking for a band-aid until i could source some new rims. $240 sounds reasonable and buys me some time. Fast too, said they should be done tomorrow.
