I have a M tech rear bumper from Umnitza with single output and I want to remove the diffuser
to either paint it or wrap it.
Does the bumper have to come off or can I just remove the screws to take it off?

Very simple to get the rear bumper off. 4 main screws and smaller ones in the wheel fender area. very simple after you watch the guys at a bodyshop do it.

Is it different from the BMW original bumper then? With original M-tech bumper the diffuser can be removed without disassembling the bumper itself.

You just need to get properly under the car so that you can reach the screws that hold the diffuser.
On the other hand, as said, removing the rear bumper is very easy, probably need just another person to help.

Put the rear of the car on "stands and slide under your car and look up very easy to access the screws from that point.
