i cant lock and unlock the car using the remote, both of them the one that im using and the spare remote, what seem to be the problem battery?? guys please help thanks in advance

HAd this problem (well not that bad actually, as I could open from VERY close)...
Dealer changed the antenna.
Things seem to work right now....

From what I understand if your battery was low, it would show on iDrive

just went to the dealer today, the problem was the remote key so they're gonna get me two brand new keys!! thanks to Center BMW here at Sherman Oaks!!

And hope they did check the embedded antenna within car !

I thought the batteries in these keys got charged while they were in the ignition ? or do they actually have a small battery inside??
