I finally bought a set of reflector inserts. Just tried to install them and was afraid I was going to break the current covers. The didn't come out too easily. Any advice from someone who has done this?

I tried putting a sting behind the plastic insert and pull but it didn't budge. Putting in the reflectors looks fairly easy. It's getting out the current covers is my problem.

Questions:
Do the current inserts have the same mounting system as the reflectors?

The reflectors I bought have a plastic clip (or hook) on one side and a metal clip on the other. I assume that the current insert is the same... yes?

If so... is all I need to do is hook the metal clip with either string or fishing line and pull it?

Please help. Thanks much.

THANKS !! I tried a search and did it wrong. Thanks for the link. My new reflectors are now in. It took a harder tug and they popped right out. Took 3 minutes total to remove and install. I love the way the car looks with the reflectors. Thanks to all of you that convinced me to do it.

This forum is excellent.
