I logged into my Owners Circle today. The interior says "Red Orange Leather." This sounds decidedly less appealing than "Auburn."

Now I never saw the Auburn except for the gracious pictures on this website. I hope it is what I expect. When is it too late to change colors?

The color on the bmw web site looks nothing like the real thing...pictures in this forum are closer to it. IMO, with anthracite trim, the leather looks a little darkr than the pic in the gallery, but lighter than that at bmwusa.com. Auburn is an awesome color on white, dark silvers, and various shades of black. Nothing like a two tone interior though, I got it and haven't regret a moment since, I get complements on the exotic look and sportish feel all the time when my buds are in the car.

In sunlight, it may apear more orange, but when you are driving, it looks more like a cinnamon.

Anybody car to agree to disagree and explain more of what auburn is like?

I think Auburn is an interior color you should see in person before ordering. I like it, but it is different.

This is my 4th BMW and I have had Black, Beige and Grey. This Auburn interior is by far my favorite. I had to request it special with the Silver Grey exterior (no charge option). The 2 tone look is very sporty.

I ordered "Auburn" for my 530 and my Owner's Circle also said "Red Orange Leather". Auburn is what I got. As no doubt you're aware, there is no "Red Orange Leather" interior choice when building your 530 on BMW's web site. I think BMW, for reasons unknown, calls "Auburn" "Red Orange Leather" on their Owner's Circle web site. By the way, I think it's a great interior color.

Must be some German web developer with a bad translation dictionary

Yeah the color is definitely cool. It is a orange-y but the two tone is H O T.

Trust me it does not look orange. It is more of a natural brown. I have a briefcase that is the same - - not natural but a deep, tanned tone. It looks orange in pix - the flash adds coloration.

You will love it - really is distinctive.
