My Ride: 2005 545i with everything
Default

I've had my 2005 545i with sport package for 2 years and 20k miles. I found the sport seats uncomfortable for longer drives at first and stated so in several threads here in 2005. I have to say though that for the last 12-18 months I haven't had a problem with the seats. I find them pretty comfortable and definitely supportive of spirited driving. I was dead set on never owning a BMW with sport seats again and wanting comfort seats but now I could go with either seat and not have a problem.

just thought I would share.

I still regret going on the cheap when deciding on whether to get the comfort seats or not. That was a mistake I'm never going to make again. I still dislike the sport seats. And wouldn't you know it the very next year it's standard with the Sport package. Thanks a lot BMW.

Just been in an 535d MSport loaner for the last week (I assume they are "sports" seats). As rodneyremington said, maybe one week isn't enough time but I'm sure glad to be back in comfort seats.

I am confused-in 07 the sport package came with comfort seats which were more sporty to me than comfortable but still very comfortable-I didnt even think sport seats were an option as the comfort seats encompassed the sport seats.

In 08 are the sport seats backs? and if so what do theylook like in comparison to the comfort seats?

I love the comfort seats in 07 anyway-have gotten loads of comments. Even the little neck/head bolsters I have grown to love. I feel like I am in an airplane cockpit when I tighten the side bolsters and head/neck bolsters and everythign-I love em
