Recent trouble with Sirius Radio Reception

I was just wondering if anyone else has had sub-par performance out of their Sirius radio? I have a 2008 535i and recently had the HPFP replaced and associated reprogramming done. Since then, I have had less than satisfactory performance out of my satellite radio. Previously, I've never had one bit of trouble. In fact, I've parked my car in the same parking garage for the last seven months and even while inside the garage, I was able to pick up stations with no trouble or loss of service.
After getting my car back from the HPFP replacement, I can no longer pick up satellite stations while in the same parking garage, when going under bridges, or even when driving by certain buildings.
Was I spoiled to having a sat radio that had super reception to begin with and am now experiencing the norm or do I actually and coincidentally have degraded performance after the reprogramming? Thank in advance

HPFP is up front under hood, Sat radio receiver and antenna are in the rear of the car...
Only thing I can think of is the dealer screwed up the software upgrade that is usually required from a HPFP replacement....

my sat dosent great good reception either. if im on open highway its good, but around trees and stuff its pretty bad. ive had the hockey puck antenna hook up to a regular sirius in other cars come in fine thru the same areas.

I lose signal under trees as well. Usually at the bank drive thru as well. Hasn't mattered what car or what type of antenna.
