Instead of normal grease i opted to use chemical grease which it wont brake down as easily as the normal grease.

So far its working like a charm!!!!!!!!!!!!

ssss
I have an '06 and the sunshade is stuck OPEN
When I push the button the arms move inwards an inch then stop. I believe the mechanical components are jamming. I had a friend shimmy the thing while i pressed the button and it started working again.. then I greased up the track hoping that it would stay functional but after a few days it stopped again! bah!

I still haven't found any good clear instructions to take it apart... Can you please share how you managed to get to inner world of that damn sunshade?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!
