Just wanted to toss this out there... If any of you venture out to remove the rear face place on the console just below the air vents, better be careful! I took mine out and followed the procedures from the rear seat heat install. This worked well, but I imagine this was the first time this panel has ever been removed. So let me say the difficult level was very high... I did however mange to remove the panel. During the process, the clip on the right side was damaged and bent quite badly. Thinking not to worry about such a little clip I began my quest to locate a replacement one... Hmmm, they don't exist! Looked everywhere called and went to the dealer. They did the same, no clip. Bottom line is if you lose this clip or damage it beyond repair, you simple have to purchase a NEW PANEL to get the clip which is very expensive. Luckily, I was able to straighten the clip so I could use it.

Would the clips listed as parts 5 & 6 not work?

I've been here and I too couldn't believe that you can't buy those clips as spares. If you ever get here the cheapest way to solve this is to buy the oddment tray or a plastic cover and get the clips from that!!

Good luck with the rest of the install! I'll have to watch out more carefully for the clips on my projects - I never imagined they would be that hard to find.
