Hi.. 2004 530i
New to forum. Searched 60 or so pages till cross eyed. Didn’t see a viable thread.
Replacing regulator on passenger door. All was relatively intuitive until having to remove rear window to get to top torxe screw on regulator.
Appears outside trim around widow must be removed. Can’t tell how it’s attached and can’t afford to experiment prying and bending so I have to replace.
Any useful advice is appreciated.
Have the service manual..but no help on trim removal.

Yeah, if it's anything like an E53, the trim at the bottom of the window opening has to come out to provide room to get the glass out. I used a plastic prytool and worked from the rear to the front but that was a front door. Not sure if it matters which end you start with on a rear door, but the front edge of that trim is tucked under the mirror housing.
Do you have a Bentley manual? If you're keeping the car for a while, it's well worth buying as it's full of info on projects like this one.
