Rear pads replaced with new sensor, Idrive resets to -15,000

OK, so it was time to replace the rear pads. Got a new set and a new sensor and put on this morning. I followed the directions on the site to reset the service interval, but when I get to "Reset?" I release and push in again and hold, and it resets to -15,000 miles. Can anyone shed light on this?

Got it! Had to push the odo button one more quick time at "-----"

Oil change coming up fast too. I hope the new service manuals hurry up and get here.
