2007 530I...I WROTE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO ABOUT REAR MAIN SEAL GOING OUT AT 675 MILES [TOOK A WEEK TO FIX]. TODAY WHEN ATTEMPTING TO BACK OUT OF DRIVEWAY TRANMISSION MALFUNCTION SHOWS ON DISPLAY AND CAR WILL NOT MOVE. SITTING HALF WAY OUT INTO STREET FOR 2 HOURS TILL TOW GETS HERE. BACK TO DEALER...CLIP ON TRANS CABLE CAME OFF. TELL ME AGAIN WHAT A GREAT QUALITY CAR BMW MAKES? OR BETTER YET WHAT IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO BMW? DEALER I BOUGHT FROM IN INDIANAPOLIS ALSO HAS INFINITE AND VW....MAY BE JAPANESE THIS TIME? I KNOW, NOT AS MUCH SNOB APPEAL, BUT QUALITY WISE I BELIEVE THE JAPANESE WIN...I KNOW, UNLESS YOU ARE RACING THROUGH ALL THE CURVES WE HAVE HERE IN INDIANA. GEE....1150 MILES NOW AND WAITING FOR NEXT PROBLEM....THERE, NOW I FEEL BETTER.

First, Caps lock off.....
You seem to have a bad example.....its unfair to judge a whole marque by it. You are just as likely to get a bad apple with BMW as you are with any other premium brand. I have had all kinds of odd issues with all kinds of higher-end brands.

I've had NO issues with mine, after 2 months and 6k miles. I sense the vast majority of '06 and '07 owners have had few or zero issues. Hopefully, your car will start cooperating with you. Hang in there!

Huh, a RMS failure, hopefully you don't consider any porsches in the future.
Sorry about your problems, but after warranty covers everything, you should be problem free. If for some reason you go in for the third time however, I guess you can utilize the lemon law.

Please no shouting! You don't sympathy that way!
After 2004 spring 54tkm, one ABS sensor and failure to setup rear windows after battery was disonnected. Still so happy camper!
