So my driver side rear shock is creaking pretty badly.
Any idea what it could be?
Or if it could be related to SIB 33 02 06? "Recall Campaign 06V-277: Inspect Rear Shock Absorbers (Supercedes Aug 06)"
I'm thinking its the lower bushing on the shock...

I have a feeling it has to be that lower bushing on the shock absorber. I've driven cars with blown out shocks and this does not feel like a worn shock.
The noise was very sudden. One day no noise the next day creaking while getting in and out of the car.
I attached the SIB since I couldn't find any other post related to rear shocks on a 2006 530i. These are the OEM non-sport shocks and spring with about 60K on them.
Any members out there have SIB service done by the dealer?
FYI I didn't hit any potholes recently or ever for that matter. I avoid all potholes like the plague.
