Default Rear brake pads service error

Hey guys, I had replaced my Angel eye globe in my e60 and I had parking light failures appear because of the led. I think I found a solutiokn for that however in the process of trying to reset the errors on that I had accidently reset my brake pad indicator on my cluster. Anyways I read up on forums how to reset it again however every time I have it reset it clears and then goes back to -25000 again.i can't manage to keep it cleared

I think you have to replace pad sensor with a new one. Once you reset it, it see it is an old sensor then gives you the -25k. There is also a way to delete the sensor all together but you have to look that process up.

The pad thickness can be measured then entered into the brake service monitor to reset it.
You will need to plug into the OBD port with a capable scanner such as Foxwell.

For example, if you measure and enter 7mm thickness, the miles will reset to an approximate distance.

NoQuarter can this be done with INPA. I did not know you can manually input readings.

Don't know about INPA, I haven't used that much

But I have done it a couple times for various reasons with the Foxwell and it works well.
