Rear Brake Pads Advice
2008 BMW 550i Sport
So my rear brake pad service light came on yesterday. Do I have to replace the Rotors?
What pads should I switch to? Cool Carbon, Hawk, OEM, etc...
What parts do I need to do a brake pad job?
Thanks for any advice and assistance anyone can bring. I'm in Fort Worth, Texas so if anyone wants to hook up one weekend and work on the car let me know!

- Brake Pads (which ones?)
- Brake Pad Sensor (how many?) (does it matter the brand?)
- What else????

Craig,
I would go with Posi Quiet Semi Metallic pads and for rotors check it by running your finger or a pen (when its cool) from the hub up towards the top of the rotor and if it stops or has a lip I recommend changing the rotor out. You will also need a brake sensor (ONE) and it doesn't matter what brand.
