Default Rear Brake pad and sensor question

My iDrive is telling me that my rear brakes are due in about 700 miles. Do I also need to change the brake wear sensor?

Thanks!

I'd recommend you do, it's a fairly cheap part. Some new pads may already come with the sensor.
