Hi Everyone,
I had my 2010 550i in for inspection this weekend (at an indy shop) and had my rear brake pads and sensor replaced. I did not have a warning light yet. The brakes were passing, but the shop said it was getting close, so decided to have them replaced. I asked that they reset the iDrive rear brake life mileage, but do not think they did. It is reading 10,000 mi, but I feel like that is what it was when I took it in.
What mileage should the rear brakes default to once reset? And is there a way to do this myself? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
