In my car, the RDS is set. Then a few days later it goes away.? It's been doing this ever since i got the car. Anyone have the same problem?

YES!! I have that same problem....it hasn't been as bad since upgrading to 16.2, but still seems to come and go for no reason. We don't have a lot of RDS capable stations in my area, and I have never seen any song title info, just station names....I guess that means none of the local RDS stations are broadcasting song info?? Can anyone confirm that? Or, if I am getting the station name, does that mean I should also be able to see song info as well?

I think that when you are playing an AM station and you hit "set" it automatically shuts off RDS.

Interesting theory, but I never listen to AM stations and this happens to me as well.

Either the CD or I do have Sirius, but have nothing stored in presets.

When in a radio display screen (presets, all, etc.) note that the SET command is highlighted. Push the I-Drive button to see a sub menu to store the station, adjust tone, etc. At the top is an RDS selection box. If checked RDS is on, if unchecked, its off.

I do not have the RDS selection box there. I have a TP selection box in that place (that is Traffic Program in RDS) that I can check or uncheck. I always have RDS on. Does anyone know if it is possible to switch off RDS to be able to see the station frequencies?
