Somehow when I look at all available station a lot of stations that have RDS are given in the I-Drive as Local-1, Local-2, Local-3. So you cannot see what station it is. When you click on one of those stations immediately you get the RDS traffic on the radio. Anybody experience the same and know why that is??
I think it has to do with the text changing to quickly for the car to recognize or something..

RDS systems have several channels. I think there is one called PTY or something like that that must be programmed by the radio station. If it is not.. you will get the default data from the RDS after you tune in to that station.
I am not 100% sure about that but I experienced the same problem in a 745i.
