[/quote]Yeah, just since about a year ago, they started broadcasting RDS in Northern California, too. Not all stations have it. Like I said, it is pretty old technology, but I figure radio stations have to invest in the equipment now to compete with satelite radio. Before they never had to.

It is the Radio Data System. I know it from Europe. It gives you station information, song names, artist and "Yes" commercials on your radio display. Similar to what you might get from a satelite radio. The only thing is they had it 15, 20 years ago.
