Select Entertainment menu > Select FM > Select Set > Checkmark RDS

on older EU cars it is automatic, no choice, it is ON already and all the time. On the new ones or after software update there is and ON/OFF option in the radio menu when you press down the knob on a radio station where it will offer the SET menu - store, sound, TMC....

Just had software update but does not see rds

is your car EU or US or Asian spec????
perhaps do the local radio stations broadcast in RDS signal????

my car is europe model and in Mauritius we have 1 station in rds

in that case you should have the RDS option available already or via the menu..... but it seems like you simply do not have the perception of the RDS station or a quality signal enough..... it is a bit hard to try with only one RDS station available thou....
