Rattle Noise Under Car
Hey guys, new around here just looking for some advice before I bring my car to a mechanic (if that's possible in the current situation with COVID-19...)
There is a rattle noise when I hit the gas coming from under the car, a friend of mine said he thinks it could be the resonator let me know your thoughts please

So no matter if you're driving or sitting idle when you hit the gas you hear the noise. If so check around the exhaust. That should be where it's coming from

I know it's coming from the exhaust, I just don't have a lift and I was hoping maybe somebody had a similar sound that they could suggest what the problem is. I understand it could be as simple as a heat shield I just am unaware as of this point. I guess a floor jack and some cardboard is a good start lol.

Yes. It can be a few things just hope it is not the converter. More than likely it's a loose hanger or shield that wasn't bolted all the way. A visual check and shake should find it if it's not the converter. Probably best to put it up on 4 stands if you don't have access to a lift
