Rattle from the comfort seat plastic surrounding the seat controls
Hello,
i have this super annoying rattle coming from the plastic:
This is on both driver and pasager side.
That plastic feels so cheap, even if I touch it, it makes cracking sounds, this gets even worse when you wear the seatbelt because it will rub against the plastic when you move ever so sightly and cause even more rattles...
I've tried felt tape numerous times but no to avail and it's driving me nuts, I'm considering straight up removing it.
Has anyone had similar issues? Or has anyone here removed that plastic bit? Will it look that bad?
It's removable, I've had mine off. It clips around the button panel and then it pops off in the rear. I'll see if I can send you something. I think you pull the rear up a bit. You just pry around the 6 clips around the button panel.
Are you sure it's not the grey plastic trim around it
Not sure what piece you mean, but I'm pretty sure it's the one I highlighted in the picture, if I apply any pressure to it, it makes that sound.

Do you happen to have a part number for that? Also, how does it look with the trim removed? If it's not that bad I might as well just leave it without it😅. Does it expose any wires/anything that can get damaged?
