Radio is not working

Hi! I have a 3 month old 523i equipped with the BMW business radio (think this is the standard equipment) and on numerous occassions there is no sound when I turn the radio on but the CD player worked fine. This problem goes away the next time I start the car and use the radio again. Have not been back to the dealer since it is not a major problem. Anyone experienced this before?
