Radio noise from 06 550i
This one's weird.
I pulled out of my driveway this morning and was going by my neighborhood when my radio started SCREAMING sweet nothings of sound waves through the speakers. Out of confusion, I went to try the aux function on my phone, see if sending some sort of signal would fix the issue. Aux function didn't work. Crap. Went to FM, worked for 15 seconds. But the humming didn't go away.
As I start from a stoplight, just over all the humming you can hear a high-frequency pitch that gets higher as the engine revs higher. As i come to the conclusion that it must be some sort of alternator ground, the varying frequency of clues and annoying sound fade away, only leaving behind the incessant buzzing offered by my stereo.
In all seriousness, I have no clue how to diagnose this. Does anybody know what's going on in this?
I also have reason to believe there is a wiring issue in the AC control panel. The air likes to turn itself on sometimes.
EDIT: This did not stop when i turned off my car. Just kept on humming.

Looks like something has been installed incorrectly. Start with removing whatever cable that is coming out of your IHKA area. You're going to have to pull the IHKA out and see what 3rd party hardware you need to redo.
