Default radio and nav "forget" settings when turned off

This sucks... I used to do it once in a blue moon, now its almost every time I turn the car off. 2008 535i. Still under the CPO warr... what is causing this?

Thanks

Either you've grabbed the second key or your car battery could be the problem...

new battery as of March. I cant fathom that just because I used the "second" key that it would cause the car not to recognize the settings...

Each key saves the settings used. For example my wife's key will have its own settings for radio presets, Nav favorites, seating position etc that she uses. If you only use your one key but have never used the second it may have no settings associated with it. We've had folks do this before so just throwing it out there as an idea...

As for the battery, being that new it should be OK. Can't speak to the coding issue...
