Is there a combo of laser jammer and radar detector in one??? I mean a remote one, where the sensors are in the front bumber and the dispaly unit is in the cabin......
I want both but I do not feel like wiring both independently.....
NOTE: I want even the radar detec. unit to be the remote one..... units like Escort or Valentine are no good because they have to be placed on the windscreen....... and gipsies and homelesses like to steel all that is not mounted to the car.....
The laser jammers are offered only as remote obviously and some radar detecs too but I would really love a combo of both..... with one read-out unit for the cabin....one power cable input....and tons of sensors for the bumper

In terms of a jammer vs. a shifter, the end result is the same, but a shifter deflects the laser so that the return beam is "shifted" away from the laser gun. I believe that a jammer jams the signal so that the beam is simply not returned, but I'm less sure of that technology.

The Passport SR7 is probably your best bet, even though it's expensive. Escort makes some of the best detectors out there, and they've been in the business a long time. I don't think that Valentine has an equivalent product to the SR7, but someone else would know. Is laser a big problem in your area? Without a laser jammer, I've often wondered how effective a laser detector by itself would really be. I've been told that once they spot you with laser, you've had it

They liked the BEL over some of the others here.

Just saw a photo set of a BEL install but cannot remeber which board. If I come across it again I'll post it here.

I mean a remote one, where the sensors are in the front bumber and the dispaly unit is in the cabin.
If the sensor is placed in the front bumper, dirt and mud will cover the sensor over the time and it'll lose its effectiveness.
