If you have your trace file can you please give me the code/option for transmission? I coded two E60's today and I did not clear the FSW_PSW.MAN file. One was auto and one was manual. I think I coded the manual with the auto's .MAN file. I saved the trace file for KOMBI but I don't think I moved the FSW_PSW.trace to my temp folder. A tranny error popped up later and i figured it would clear but just in case. The only thing I did was code KOMBI
Sorry if this is not in the right place but I don't remember a coding forum here.

The option "K8116_KLAPPENAUTOMATIK" is in the CAPPL module. You mentioned you coded the KOMBI module.
You want the trace for the CAPPL module?

The function "K8116_KLAPPENAUTOMATIK" is in my E60 CAPPL / CCC_APP.C04 module. I have the 6-speed manual transmission.

Ok what happened is that I did not clear the FSW_PSW.MAN and the vehicles are very similar, just one is auto and one is not. It's been a while since I coded and it was stupid not to save the trace file. So I do not have the trace file. So I wrote the wrond FSW_PSW.MAN to the other car and only coded KOMBI. Now there is a Red gear symbol and I know exactly what happened! It's difficult to sort through lines of code and so forth.
The only thing I did was select KOMBI to code. I remember it selects other modules as well such as CAS. But yes a trace would be perfect dude. The KOMBI I want to compare and perhaps there is a tranny option. The vehicle order is....

If worse comes to worse I am assuming that I can write the original VO back to the modules and it will code it according to the default. Correct? From there I would be able to get the original FSW_PSW.MAN file and save it and then recode options. I am assuming. I've been working with other tools besides NCS but I think I'll go back to NCS because of the ease of use. Can you send me your original FSW trace file so I can compare? I do not use the NCS dummy, never have...should probably learn. But which option is the one you have? free or locked? I thought those may be for the tranny but I'm unsure. A FSW trace would be ideal or some input on how to disable that gear message and dong.
So does anyone know what KLAPPENAUTOMATIK means? Or rather which option is for the

On my 6-speed manual vehicle, the CAPPL module has the following functions and parameters. They were marked with an asterisk in my earlier post.
