My Ride: 04 530i
Questions for my fellow E60 owners!
Hey everyone!
First off I'd like to introduce myself, my name is John and I've owned my 04 530i for around a year. This is my first BMW, and I'm loving every minute of it. My idea at this point of owning the car is to start modifying it to be the way that I want it to be, my only concern is that she has 221,000 miles. The car still runs perfectly and has no mechanical issues as of an inspection last week, I had the idea of driving it until the engine blew and then swapping it with an M5. But something about getting 11MPG kinda scared me away from that idea.
For starters, however. I do have a short list of projects that I'd like to work on, and would like to know the best places to go to get these items, or alternatives. I would like to spend a little money just to make it run and look a little nicer.
PROJECT IDEAS:
Cold Air Intake
Coilover suspension (raceland didn't have E60 listed
)
Perhaps an M5 bumper and then a quad exhaust
Blue angel eyes
White plasti dip body, black wheels, fogged out headlights and break likes, darkened emblems and some tint in the windows. Or murder out with matte black.
I really appreciate any input you guys have on these ideas! And I look forward to chatting with everyone!
