Maybe if you go talk to your dealer E60Sim, he can set them up like the US DRL.

At least now you know another way they are able to be programmed.

Fog lights do not come on in the "0" position. DRL's only work in this "off" position so, they seem to be mutually exclusive. Fog lights do work in any other combination.
