My new 550 will have power-folding outside mirrors. I believe that some of you in Europe have had the mirrors programmed to automaticlly fold when the car is locked. Has anyone managed to do this in the States as well?

Its dealer programmable option only so far. But I was under the impression that auto fold in mirrors were not sold as an option in the US.

They are standard on all '08 550's in the US, and included in the Premium Package for all other '08 5 Series models.

It will be under the Vehicle Settings Menu in the iDrive. That is where you can set your day time running lights ect.

Do the older model years E60's have power folding mirrors? I read somewhere that all the mirrors have the motors in them but they are not connected. Is this true?
