Thumbs up

what have you done about a spare wheel?
Spoke to my local BMW dealer today and they say that they only do 1 17" space saver wheel and that would be no good in conjunction with 19" rims.

what have you done?

Mine is on order for end of the month, but when you specify the 19" wheels the system automatically adds the space saver wheel. This is 17", but the sidewalls are deeper so that the difference isn't that noticeable - but don't forget the space saver is only there to get you to a home or to a tyre shop.

The dealer is incorrect. As previously said, the space saver is only there to get you home, or to a shop to replace your tire. The space saver has the same tire diameter as the front and rear tires of the car, and that is what's important, not the wheel size. The wheel size could be 12" or 24" - it really doesn't matter - what is important is the rolling diameter of the tire is the same as your other three tires.

those skinny wheels that are meant to get you to the nearest service st. or dealer etc... not the sort of wheel you can take to the track!!
