Default Q for 528I owners!

I need to change the coil in cylinder 5. went on ebay and found 2 sets of different part numbers for bosch coils.

I received bosch #0 221 504 464 and i was told is the same as #0 221 504 470. bought this one.

BMW Ignition Coil Bosch 04464 12219 04470 94937 | eBay

Hopefully i can get some 08 528i owners to chime in and help a nooby out.
which coil do you guys use?

Not sure if they are the same but for my 2008 528xi, i would need part #0 221 504 470. I guess you can put it in and try, i dont believe you can cause any damage. I would suspect the other part is the same thing, just a older version.

If anything you will just get a misfire. Put it in to see what you get. Maybe it will work.

Yup, you'll only get a misfire code. If it looks identical try it and 90% chance its it just a updated or older part that you have BUT IT SHOULD work . Please update me with the results, i will be changing all 6 coil packs and probably will make a DIY video.
