Purchased 2010 550i MSport
Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the e60 550i family. I purchased mines in November of 2012. It is a fascinating car. I traded my e46 325ci for this car. BIGGGG power and all around greater difference.

There is no difference in suspensions nor aero body panels from 2008-2010 550. The sport package gained the "M-Sport" nomenclature in 2010 and was marketed as an appearance + suspension package and made available to all e60 models (528, 535, and 550) for 2010 only. This year also included an ///M steering wheel. Mechanical bits are all identical 2008-2010.

Do you mean the M-Sport steering wheel or the paddle shifters? If you have M-Sport pkg you already have the steering wheel, the only difference is mine has the aluminum trim. If you mean the paddle shifters, those would need more than just the wheel to work correctly. Either way you're looking at roughly $1500 for the wheel alone in good condition with the airbag.
