Hi everyone,

Last night got this came up: Punctured Tire warning. Checked all tires, seems fine. Left it standstill for 24 hours - same.
Just wanted to find out what else i can do to make sure tires are ok before i reset my idrive? I dont really fancy going back to BMW and paying large sum for tire check, my tires are just 3 month's old!

Thank's in advance

What year is your car? There are different "flat tire" warning systems in different year cars. My 05 545i uses the ABS sensors and measure tire rotation to determine you have a flat. It has given me false flat tire readings at least 4-5 times in the 9 months I have had the car. If the tire pressure is good just reset the idrive. No dealer visit needed

Did you check the tires via tire gauge? Might be a good idea to do that as well, you could always take it by a local tire shop and have them check the tires. GL

Hope I'm not stating the obvious here, but if your tyres are runflats, they will not 'look' deflated even if they are punctured.
Only way to be sure is to check them with a tyre pressure gauge (e.g. like the ones at a petrol station...) to see if any of the 4 tyres are below the recommended PSI (or Bar).
Alternatively, any tyre outlet should be able to do this for you as well, free of charge.

However, if your tyres are not runflat and they seem fine, then it's likely the message is an error so you should be okay just resetting the I-Drive. Still a good idea to check the pressures though.

Hope this helps.

tire gauge is the tool used to check the psi in the tires ( usually silver, you put it on the tire valve and it shows the psi reading. . i think probably the wording maybe different in UK thats why you were confused. Im sure you used one to check the tires.
