My Ride: Just the basic 525.... premium package, xenon headlights
hello fellow member i just want to seek on your advice if i should remove the front side tint or take off all of it since the cop said it was too dark.I have until apr 17 to do that before i go to their municipal hall.It would be ugly if i just take the front passenger and driver side tint, so i was condidering taking them all off.What do you guys think?To all those who experienced the same thing what did you do?Thanks

Lose it all. It would look retarded with the back doors tinted and fronts not.
Replace it with clear tint film. It has no color to it, but still gives the UV protection, and some heat rejection.

Can't you get a doctor's waiver? I know that in Virginia it is possible to apply for one with the DMV. You just need to tell a doctor you are sensitive to heat, light - whatever. Tell him you get heat rashes or something. That way, if a cop pulls you over, you present the waiver. Back when I was in college, a few of my friends had them and were able to keep super dark tint on their cars.

I would jsut take the fronts off get it approved and apply it back on again. Maybe at a step lighter. I cant bare to drive a car w/out tints. I rather pay the removal fee and applcation fee now and hope you dont get caught again for a while.
what you should do is open your front windows when you see a cop. Ya it takes effort but thats the price you pay for a nicer looking car.
