Proper offset
Hello,
2 of my current wheels are cracked, so I've decided to replace all 4.
This answer has been impossible to find in 2 days of searching, so I am creating a thread.
I have stock suspension on my 2008 535xi.
I would like to upgrade to 20x9 fronts and 20x10 rears.
If the wheels only come in one size, then I will do 20x9 on all 4.
Could someone please tell me the proper offset to not cause any rubbing? For both scenarios if possible.
If going with 20x9 all around, I have seen offsets of 18, 20, and 40 I believe.
Is anyone will to share some knowledge?
Thank you.

The AWD cars do not like to have the tire rolling diameter different front/rear.
Look in the owner's manual for the allowed tire and wheel configurations.
Now, that doesn't mean you can't go and do something different, but keep the rolling diameter the same as factory and front and rear the same.

Thank you for the reply!
I have seen these x6 wheels on a e60 535i, but he didn't mention what spacers he used in his video.
Am I crazy for thinking these would fit the 535xi without a spacer?

I think I'm going to go with
19x8.5 ET40 front
19x9.5 ET45 rear
Bayern Multi wheels
Any comment on this fitment?
