Projector beam lens headlight

I was wondering if the Projector beam lens headlights are standard for all 5 series starting 2006?
Which means, even without the xenon light option, you still get projector lens for your headlights?

I think it was starting 2008 not 2006.

E60 2004 without xenon headlights came without the circular shaped lens inside the headlight housing.
Projector Lens is referring to this circular shaped lens inside the headlight housing.
They ultimately achieve more focused beam and better looks, but those are just my opinions.

I can confirm that pre-LCI non-xenon cars have no lenses for the headlights (just an old-fashioned reflector) and all LCI cars do have projector beam lights. Xenon and non-xenon.
