Excellent info ... I just made a service appointment for April 4th, for which I noted some lingering symptoms of periodic engine pinging, cold idle fluctuation, and slow response to i-drive inputs.

Hopefully these will unquestionably lead to Progman 25.

Thanks Cobradav!

I'm going to Field's BMW ... I won't know what they have until I talk to the service manager on April 3rd when I drop it off that evening.

I don't know how the updating works, but I presume it's a download process, so the dealer doesn't actually recieve a CD from BMW like other parts. Right?

Can anyone chime in on how this works?

If someone can access bmwtis.com, he/she might be able to find out if Progman 25 is loadable. To be safe, call your SA.

Been having a problem with Auto Climate Control, fan cuts off when AC is running. Been waiting for next program to fix it. Just dropped '04 525i at dealer, he says they have Ver 25 and will load it in the morning. First 25 upgrade they've done. Hope it works, he says it will fix this problem also.
