Based on a recent thread, it seems that Progman 25 is starting to roll out globally. Has anyone in the US had it installed yet? I've got the "CD keeps playing" syndrome, but thought I'd wait until 25 was out before seeking correction.

 

With the exception of Germany it seems, I get the feeling that it would be a little "previous" to out-LCI the LCI. Maybe, just maybe, they're holding back until after official LCI launch in respective territories.

In UK there are LCI events 24th and 25th March.

Progman is the term BMW uses now to designate the software control system for the cars. The old term was CIP, if that helps. As the vehicles evolve, new features are added, new problems are discovered and new Progman versions come about. Progman 25 seems to be debuting with the LCI model of the E60, and so far, seems to have added new graphics and capabilities to the NAV screen (as an example). BMW Centers have to install the new Progman versions, and unless you're either willing to pay for a change, or have a symptom which needs correction, you won't normally get a Progman revision. I think all this is correct, but others may disagree.
