Ok I'm tempted - can I just go in to my dealer and demand them to upgrade me or will I have to say:

1) My Nokia N95 doesn't work with my BT
2) My Cd keeps spinning when I leave the car
3) My Idrive is slow
4) My Gear change is jerkey

How long does this upgrade take?? And oh do the eyebrows stay on with this update? How can I be sure they give me v25 and not an older one???

Thanks

I like it! No problems so far, just improvements: engine ticking noise gone/reduced, smoother steptronic shifts, slam may be gone, throttle response more even in D, DS & M modes, nicer menus, faster iDrive response, CD really stops when you key off.

Yep, same here, no problems at all. I printed out the service bulletins for CD skip, etc. and had it done along with my normal service oil change. I actually like the new S/W version. Looks a lot better.

Things I had done:
- Progman 25
- Door seal replacement, due to squeaking noises
- DRL finally turned on
- Regular oil service
- Completely detailed

All for $0.00....awesome!

The weighting factor is about 100-1 (good-bad "press")...

So whats the best way to get my dealer to do this for me? Can I just say "I want you to upgrade me to prgman 25"

Or shall I complain about the points I mentioned above?
