Now, my 545i has the Software 25.
With Software 25, it is possible to search by name the destinations, like restaurants and hotels. After that, the destinations who are listed, includes the letters or the words which you got. The first destination in the list is the nearest one.

Just as I'd hoped when I first read about the LCI nav. It's only software and the marketing men are letting us have it too. Excellent.
Now, I wonder if the TMC(RTTI) traffic event list is focussed on the "nearest" or those "on your route"...

My Ride: E61 535d sport, Silver Grey/grey/maple.
20" Hartge Nova 7. Previously 19" staggered 172s

I recently took my e61 to Germany and the satnav came to life. The road information fed to the nav was constantly changing and the system responded with revised routes continually.
It looks to me like the UK road information broadcast is just too little, too late.

Has anyone with Progman 25 experienced if the CD player really stops after the car is switched of? When you get back and start the car again, has the CD-player advanced or is it where you left it when car was swithed of? This has been a bug for several versions now, has it been fixed...?

This has been a great way to get free Progman updates over the years.

Joking enough. I don't think this is the case. Software is never bug free.
