I am sitting at my dealer's being a waiter, watching HiDef TV, drinking iced coffee, and using the wireless. Life can be tough. I passed on the loaner. They are free, but not good--e.g., a Mazda 6. I have a ride later if I need one. Wish me luck. I'll post the effects of my "upgrade."

I don't have the CD problem, but I've got other ones that are on the list like the no gong noise for warning messages. My NAV is also 50 yards off, and I have a passenger restraint system warning. I'm hoping they "upgrade" it, but I don't know, we'll see by the end of today hopefully.

You have a point. They might try to keep it and sell it or break it so badly it'll never come home.

My car was paroled at 5:00--all hand washed and ready to go. My paper work says I was upgraded to 23.10.00. Everything seems about the same as before wheel-spin wise. We'll see if there turns out to be a measurable performance difference. I don't see why there would be with no change in wheel spinabiltiy. I don't know yet whether the CD continues to play after the car is turned off. I left it set so that I will know for sure in the morning. The only negative is that I could not get my BT phone and the car to pair again. So, I suspect that the tech forgot to turn some module/setting on. My settings were less messed up, in general, that I expected. So, 23.01.00 at least doesn't seem to be harmful assuming I can get my BT working. So, maybe

BT is fine, but the CD player moved forward two songs overnight. BWM/Seimens-VDO software.
I haven't checked to see if MP3 still works.

Hi,
Reset your CCC, and no problem with the cd after key off. ( Press the two eject button and the volume button simoultan on the CCC unit. CCC will reboot )

I am being "upgraded" to Progman 23 tomorrow. My official reason for the change is to prevent my CD player from playing after my car is turned off--which is legitimate. But, my most important reason is hoping that my wheel-spinability, which went away with 21.00.00 will be restored. What the heck? Why not give it a try in advance of the upcoming g-meter testing season?
