hey guys...i been lurking in the forums for awhile now but this is my first post.

in any case, shiv from vishnu seems to be looking for a guy up in sf for procede testing for a 535i

i'd do it too if i had a 535...what are they up to now? around 400hp/400lb-ft?

Yeah I suppose I'd jump on the bandwagon as well.... I think they're up to high high 300hp...... maybe 400hp with intake and full exhaust or something......

But from what I understand reliability goes down the drain with these upgrades.

Simple bolt ons such as intake and exhaust shouldn't do too much harm, as long as you keep the boost under control via boost gauge or a boost controller, or both. In my previous turbo cars I had an issue with boost creep or over boosting when I started to really mod the exhaust, but the PROcede should help control any over boosting issues. As for reliability concerns, just don't take your car and beat it to the ground without proper measures such as warm ups and cool downs. Besides that, the car is still too new and I have heard of people blowing their engines in the 335i .............
