The CAS (Car Access System) has to be re-programmed if the new battery capacity is different. So the answer is both YES and NO

The dealer did a read-out today.
Turns out the car has lots of error codes. They erased all errors, but all mentioned options are still not working. The battery is sufficient full, as I had a drive of over 200 km's. The list of error codes were all applicable to the mentioned options which are not working.
I guess I have to figure it out once I'm back from my skiing trip. That means no Night Vision for now.....
