I have warmer, or not as cold air coming out of the driver's side compared to the passenger's side. With idrive I have made all the adjustments to have the levels for both the same, as well as having the thermostats at the same settings. Any ideas as to what the problem is. Does my 550 have separate compressors? Thanks

Two distinct possibilities here, one not so obvious. First, you may have a stuck heater valve or valves. I'm assuming that you've already tried stopping the heat mixing by going completely blue in iDrive. The second, and simplest solution, is that you may be getting low on freon. In these cars (as well as e39s), when you drop below a certain level, only one side will get cool. Buy a $30 can of lube/refrigerant at wmart, and gas it up- see what happens.
