yes, it is my mom's car. a Peugeot 206 sw. IMO, that car is rubbish! it's not older than one year and the oil pump got broken, the motor software striked, the diaphragm of the roofrail fell off and so on.

long story short, a friend drove my car and couldn't negotiate a turn and he hit a median curb. the entire left front end suspension was replaced, two wheels and tires replaced, the front bumper had a minor scratch which was buffed out and repainted for a lot of money only to be covered up by an ACS front lip
and carpet was replaced from the spilled coffee.
i'm glad to report that she is definitely back to her original shape and couldn't be any happier. so sese, there is light at the end of the tunnel...

BTW luckily the appointed time at the dealer is tomorrow already

- replacing the trunk
- replacing the fender
- replacing one door
- repainting the other
- oil change
- software update

My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets.
First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.

I am sorry, but must ask: Was he aware and familiar with Active Steering? It can be very troubling if you over steer in slow places. Even after 9K miles, I am still very cautious in tight parking spaces. I am always afarid I am going to clip a rear wheel on the curb.
