Hey guys,

I have a question regarding the FM RDS. Do you guys ever see things like 'LOCAL 1' or 'LOCAL 2' listed in the 'ALL STATIONS' menu instead of the call letters?

I see very few RDS call letters on my car. I see none on the pre-sets and only a few on the 'ALL STATIONS' setting. And even on the 'ALL STATIONS' setting, several are labeled as 'LOCAL 1' or 'LOCAL 2', etc.

Now I know almost all of these stations use RDS because they used to show on my last car.

(1) Why NONE on the PRE-SETS?
(2) Why only a few on 'ALL STATIONS' and what's up with the 'LOCAL' designation? The numbers (e.g. LOCAL 1) don't even correspond to their position pre-set (e.g. STATION 1).

This just seems odd to me. Maybe it's something that will be fixed with version 12.

On my car it?s exactly the same.

I have Bus Nav ( Pro radio with two tuners ).

I find this very strange and frustrating.

Sorry, no answer to why!

My car has about 1/2 with cal letters and 1/2 saying local.....

I have pro sat/nav and all my RDS stations have names (must be because UK is smaller than California).

Call letters in the "Preset" area or "All Stations" area? I'm not seeing ANY in the presets area. And only a couple in the "all stations" area.

The town I live in has about 75% of the stations using RDS. But this car doesn't pick them up.
