My Ride: 2006 550i sport pak. all the other goodies.. MODS: M5 front, sides, aFe throttle body spacer, RPI Red scoop, amber angle eyes, powder coated sport rims, tinted tail lights. smoked side blinkers, color of car and rims roundels, real carbon fiber roof spoiler, 550i number flat black, LED license plate lights, MTX 12' sub, dyno mat, tinted Windows, flat black grill, flat black exhaust tips, light smoke headlight tint, foged out eyelash, velocity booster.

So im still on my search for a M5 rear bumper, i came across a websight called prior design. They have the m5 rear, it says call for price .odd. Im going to give them a call tomorrow.
i was just wandering if any one has used them before?

Their products are made of fiberglass, so I don't recommend them.

post how much there asking for the rear please... Is fiberglass really that bad? Why do companies make them out of FG when they charge a high price and they known it has a bad rep.?

Hang in there...it took me almost a year to find and buy a used one!!!
dont buy rep.! keep looking on ebay for used ones from a part out.
Funny I found mine in your area (san antonion)from a salvage yard advertising on ebay.
Great condition: 350.00 shipped! It will be on this spring after a new paint job!

It's not BAD, it is lighter and more workable than polyurethane.

The negatives of fiberglass parts are that it can crack and it almost always requires additional surface prep-work by the body shop before painting. Otherwise the end result is a paint job with a "wavy" reflection.
